Are you responsible for Recruitment and Selection in your organisation or business?

The recruitment and training of a new employee requires staff time and money. 

There is documented evidence to show that every time a business replaces a salaried employee it costs on average 6 to 9 months salary.  For a person making $40,000 a year, that’s $20,000 to $30,000 in recruiting and training expenses.

Other evidence shows the cost is even more – that losing a salaried employee can cost as much as 2 x their annual salary, especially for a higher salaried employee.

20% of annual salary for employees earning $30,000 to $50,000 a year would equate to a cost of a further $8,000 on top of their annual salary ($40,000).

That figure reaches up to 213% of annual salary for employees earning $100,000 (or more).  For example, the cost to replace a $100,000 Employee is $213,000.
